As a Postpaid customer, you pay your bill after you use the Digicel service. For help understanding the features of your Postpaid bill, see below.
If your bill balance is higher than what you are accustomed to, take these factors into consideration:
Each Postpaid plan comes with data allotment. For example, the Postpaid Business 1 plan comes with 2.5GB of data.
If you are on a new Freedom Postpaid Plan, data overage will be blocked. This means once your data is exhausted, you will not incur any additional data charges. You will however have the option of purchasing a data add on. If you decide to, the cost of the data add on of your choice will be shown on your next bill.
If you are on an old Postpaid Plan, data services can still be used after the allotted data bundle is depleted. It will be charged at the prevailing overage rate of 44VT per MB.
These are transactions made outside your bundle allotment or once your bundle has been fully exhausted.
It is important to note that some transactions (Data charges and Credit U) do not take Credit Limit into consideration. For example, if your Credit Limit is 5,000VT, it is possible for this to be exceeded as a result of data charges or Credit U transactions.
